Long time no see

Wow, I was just re-reading my journal entries and I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since I was here.

Long story short: I lost interest in 3D for a while. Sadly, it's been so long since I played with my 3D toys that I've forgotten everything I learned and I'll basically have to start from scratch all over again. It's frustrating.

I'm trying to narrow my focus in 3D to an area that I think I can do and stop trying to render something that would compare to what's over at cgtalk. I'm still just a newbie at this after all.

I thought I'd try my hand at a more toon-ish type of style and see where that goes.

I have posted some of my work elsewhere, but it's not quality work, and is mostly unsuitable to display. It's also mature content and I wasn't comfortable including it here. What you see here represents, in my opinion, my best work, which isn't saying much. :) If you're still interested, let me know and I'll post a link or send it in a note since it's on an adult site.

I'm in the process of actively learning Blender, so I'm not on as much but I'll try to check in periodically.
